Published Delhi rate cards are rare, so ask every studio what’s included.

A word about the evidence before the numbers. We searched for published Delhi headshot pricing from other studios and found almost none. The detailed price guides that exist are written for the US market in dollars, and converting those would give you a figure that means nothing in Delhi. So this post gives you our own rates, the structure that any headshot quote follows, and the questions that make quotes comparable.

How much do professional headshots cost in Delhi?

For an individual at SnapRich: from Rs 9,999 per session. That price includes:

• Studio setup and lighting

• Multiple backdrop options (we use white, light grey and dark)

• Direction during the shoot

• Delivery of edited images, as high-resolution print-ready files plus web-optimised versions

• Selected images retouched for skin tone accuracy, sharpness and background consistency

Rs 9,999 is a “from” price, and the usual reasons it goes up are extra retouched images, more outfits or backdrops than planned, and rush delivery.

How are team headshots priced?

Team and bulk sessions of 10 or more people are priced as custom packages. We don’t publish a per-person table, because the numbers depend on your location, headcount and schedule. But the logic is the same everywhere:

Team price = day or half-day booking + per-person editing and delivery + extras

Where the “extras” can be travel, additional backdrops, hair and makeup, or rush delivery.

A team day works because the setup is fixed. The studio brings lights and a backdrop to your office once, and then people flow through in 5 to 10 minute slots. A full day covers about 40 to 50 people. So the more people you can put through a booked day, the lower the cost per head.

Here’s the arithmetic. It’s an illustration with an invented figure, not a quote:

The pattern is the point. If you book a day for 20 people, you’re paying for slots you don’t use. If you can fill 40 to 50, the same day costs roughly half or less per head. For a company that’s growing, one scheduled day per quarter often beats ad hoc individual bookings.

Compare that with sending twenty people for individual sessions at the starting rate of Rs 9,999 each: Rs 1,99,980 before any extras. That’s why teams of 10 or more are priced separately.

Studio vs on-location: which costs less?

It depends on size.

• Up to 5 or 6 people: the studio is usually simpler and cheaper. Lighting is permanent and there’s no travel.

• 10 or more: on-location usually wins per head, because one setup serves everyone and nobody loses travel time. On-location is available across India at our studio, though outside Delhi NCR travel adds to the quote.

What’s not always included

Get these in the quote in writing. Surprises tend to arrive here:

• How many final retouched images each person gets. One is standard in many quotes. Extra images may be charged.

• Usage rights. LinkedIn, website, press, internal documents, print.

• Outfit and backdrop changes. Included or per change?

• Hair and makeup. Usually extra if arranged through the studio.

• Rush delivery. We deliver in 24 to 72 hours, and for hard deadlines you should ask at booking whether anything faster is possible.

• Travel and setup charges for on-location work.

• Revisions. One round? Unlimited?

Is it worth paying for?

If the photo sits on a profile that clients or recruiters see, the cost per day of use is tiny. It stays on LinkedIn, your website and your proposals for years. If your whole team page is a mix of selfies, cropped group photos and old studio shots, a consistent set changes how a company looks to anyone considering hiring it.

If you’re only after a casual profile photo and money is tight, a friend with a decent camera and window light will do. We wouldn’t talk you out of that.

How to get a comparable quote

Send every studio the same brief:

1. Number of people and location

2. Where the photos will be used

3. Number of final retouched images per person

4. Delivery deadline

5. Whether you need the backdrop to match an existing set

Then compare totals, not rates. A cheaper day rate with expensive extras can end up higher.
